In the depths of my despair
CHRIST THE LORD met me there
HE took my hand, lifted me out
Of the pit of fear and doubt
HE IS MY LORD, HE IS MY MASTER
Protection from evil’s disaster
I’ll honor HIM, live life HIS way
For He rescues me from day to day
I’ll set my ways according to His fashion
HE is JESUS full of compassion.
