Find The Treasure
by Jenny Wren
Are you seeking a treasure of greatest price
Know that this treasure shall surely suffice
The pearl is rarest of all the rare
Satisfying the need that can cover you there
Dear Saints of God this treasure you seek
He's so gentle and kind, He's timid and meek
Now offers to all whatsoever your needs
Our soul and spirit wants to do good deeds
Seeds of love he freely shares with us all
Spreading His Word and his beaconing call
Lift high our Savior up, then lifted higher
His Word unstoppable - an unquenchable fire.
He touches, he brands that accepting soul
Then He falls upon others in a God-given goal
He fills them in love which, in turn overflows
On and on love travels, on and on love grows
This rarest of pearls, with its unknown price
His name is Jesus, its only Jesus can suffice.
He's found worthier than all- treasure untold
Gives heart satisfaction, for mankind to hold
Never enough of our Savior can we know
As our lives in Jesus now continue to grow
Becomes the reason your life you will give
When, forever for Jesus, you promise to live
Self no longer rules - is de-thronged in its fall
The Pearl is not free, it costs your all
Until wilderness days have set mankind free
Live each day with a treasure - then eternity.

Matthew13: 44-46
44 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto
treasure hid in a field; that which when a
man hath found, he hideth, and for joy
thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath,
and buyeth that field.
45 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto
a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls:
46 Who, when he had found one pearl of
great pric', went and sold all that he had,
and bought it. (Gave His all)

The old time way of forgiving sin was started when Moses in the wilderness days set up the tabernacle at each stop and they sacrificed animals to God for a blood sacrifice. For the sins of the people, along the wilderness way. When God led them away from the snare of Egypt.
The blood of the only begotten son of God himself who is all God and all man combined - How much more his blood of love giving would cover in the sins of mankind - past, present, and future,
The sins of the people in the Old Testament were forgiven through Jesus - bloodshed by them also, being left in the will of promise from the beginning of time as prophesied. When you have been left
Something in a will, the one who wrote the will has to be dead before that will is of any benefit to you. Even though you are named in it, just as your parents leave you something if you die before they do, your part goes to someone else. because the will is no good to anyone as long as the testator is alive, so Jesus had to die in order for all of it to go into effect for the Old Testament children ... now .... and future.
The law goes into effect only after the one who wrote the will and then. What you have left to someone upon your death cannot be changed. It Is yours forever. Forgiveness was ours when Jesus died. He had it covered if we just believe him.
There had to be bloodshed for this to go into effect, just as in the Passover time when the blood of lambs was smeared on and the priest then blessed the homes the blood was found upon, and none died of the firstborn inside after the killing of the lamb.
Moses took hyssops. And sprinkled the blood and water for the sanctification. Of the people and the place from the purified blood of the slain lamb and the death angel went on over the homes when they saw the blood on the doorposts.
The above happening was an image of the coming of Jesus to earth to die for the sins of mankind. Theirs at the tabernacle. In the wilderness days was a mirror reflecting the real sacrifice of God's son for mankind - the lamb without a blemish, dying for the sins of mankind, also to defeat death by applying the blood over the doorposts of our own hearts.
So the death angel will pass on over and mankind is freed, He enters into the holy tabernacle which is our own body, which is the living temple of the living Lord just as in the making of a will to leave your treasure to your children. God’s son, our older brother died only one time for all time for the sins of mankind for us.
From the beginning of time through right this day and all tomorrows, he died to save man. Now man is freed of all sin. All he has to do is believe on the Son of God and what he has done for each of us that day at Calvary.

Dearest Lord we thank you for the great sacrifice of your only begotten son Jesus who gave his all for us. For God the curse was sealed and would now be forgotten, as the price had been paid at such a high cost to God for each of us his children, real and adopted. We praise you heavenly father for this, in Jesus name, Amen.
