GIFT OF LOVE
Jenny Wren

My love is very patient and kind
Never jealous or envious love
It is never boastful never proud
A special gift from God above

Love is never haughty, selfish, rude
It never demands its own way
Love is not touchy or irritable
Over hurtful words others say.

It holds no grudges - hardly notices
When others have done it wrong
Love never rejoices of injustices
If truth wins out, love is a song

If you Love one, you shall be loyal
To that Love no matter your cost
Love believes and demands the best
This gift of God - it can be lost

1 Corinthians 13 1Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.

2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.
3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.
4 Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
6 Rejoice not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
8 Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.
9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.
10 But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.
11 When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
13 And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.
the man and God

Man is striving so hard to make a heaven on this earth and it is not going to happen, no matter how much he loves the living here; there is to be a new world and new heaven. I just happen to believe God, and not man.

Man was so sure of this earth being the heaven that they killed the savior who came to save them. This is stubbornness at its peak - God has already said there is to be a new heaven and a new earth - this one shall roll back like a scroll and will be no more.

Have you seen a scroll, a long flat piece of parchment present rolled into a tube and looked through. Only there you shall see what God meant.
Like a periscope out in the nothingness, old space is a far away land where we shall never grow old. It may be dreamland, but I will just keep on dreaming.
Better than this hellish earth with all of its heathen religions.
Just an opinion of a senile old woman who has seen too much of mankind.

God knows and I sure think that God is the truth and every man is a liar. God is the creator, man is the byproduct. Nothing more. He was made to entertain God, and entertain him we surely have. Dang near killed ourselves trying to understand him and his ways.
He has said, “Man will never understand,” and i see they will not ........ever.

Prayer for this day
Help me to notice the small things in life that you have created just for our pleasure. Help me to be alert for a lone dandelion in the dark green grass, and for a shooting star at the darkest of night, and remind me Lord that I am your child each and every day in Jesus name I pray.
