Intro:
Our Sunday school topic for today focuses on the importance of trusting God. Once God asked Isaac to sacrifice his son. Isaac was willing to do so, but only because he  had absolute trust in God. And God didn't make him do it.

  2. Ask the students - what would you do if he asked you to do something you didn't want to do?
  3. Describe Isaac. Ask:  What did Isaac do to demonstrate his absolute trust in God?
  4. What was the teaching God offered to Isaac - the greatest truth in the Bible?*
  5. Ask: What did God do for Isaac and his son?
  6. What does the Bible say?
  7. Describe the joy and personal reward of humble dedication - the indwelling Christ
  8. Challenge students to serve others in humility this week
