Today's Bible Reading:

Proverbs 4:18-23
18 But the path of the just is as the shining light,
 that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.
19 The way of the wicked is as darkness: they know not at what they stumble.

20 My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings.

 21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.

 22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health  to all their flesh.

23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.

I'll Be A Sunbeam

Jesus wants me for a sunbeam,
To shine for Him each day;
In every way try to please Him,
At home, at school, at play.

Refrain

A sunbeam, a sunbeam,
Jesus wants me for a sunbeam;
A sunbeam, a sunbeam,
I’ll be a sunbeam for Him.

Jesus wants me to be loving,
And kind to all I see;
Showing how pleasant and happy
His little one can be.

Refrain

I will ask Jesus to help me
To keep my heart from sin,
Ever reflecting His goodness,
And always shine for Him.

Refrain

I’ll be a sunbeam for Jesus;
I can if I but try;
Serving Him moment by moment,
Then live with Him on high.

Refrain

Spiritual Heart

There is a very special part
Known within a spiritual heart
A heart that reaches out with care
Shining light upon those in dark despair.

At times this heart can be heard to cry
Yet sorrowful tears fall fast –then dry
And there’s a good reason why -

The eye of this heart stays focused on God's grace
Reaching out to souls,everywhere and every place.

Understanding ages past and knowing what lies ahead
Seeing the blessings of God,thankful always for daily Bread.

Eyes of the heart stay true to the vision
Of sharing Christ’s love continually with others-
Being part of His greatest mission.

2 Corinthians 4:6 For God, who commanded the light to shine

out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light

of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
